In the name of Allah the most Beneficent the most Merciful,
“So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to listen? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.”
Dear reader we shall by the permission of Allah focus on this specific part of the verse,”…and ears by which to listen..”
Our Creator is the One who gave you and I ears.It maybe some of my readers have lost the ability to hear but for the vast majority of us we haven’t.Of course there is a wisdom behind why some people are hearing impaired for our Lord does not commit any injustice;not even an atoms’ weight.
For those of us who can hear let us remember that we will be questioned about this blessing.Allah says;
“And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart – about all those [one] will be questioned.”
Dear reader with this in mind should we not be careful of what we listen to?Should we not use this faculty of hearing well?
May Allah have mercy on us lets strive to listen to that which will benefit us and not that which will harm us.Lets listen to Quran,beneficial lectures and all that which helps us achieve our purpose of life: Ibaadah. Let’s also apply that which benefits from what we hear and Allah knows best.
Asalaam aleykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh( May the peace and mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you)
